in Berlin

Philharmonie 27th February 2007
was the venue for 4-MALITY's first performance in Germany. It was
recorded for a broadcast on Deutschland Radio.

Tour Taiwan 2005/6
The
Ju
Percussion Group invited 4-MALITY to be one of their special
guest performers at the 2005
Taipei International Percussion Convention. 4-MALITY are the
first British group to perform at this convention and follow in
the foot steps of Nexus, Kroumata, Amadinda Percussion Group, Les
Percussions de Strasbourg, Amsterdam Percussion Group and Synergy.
4-MALITY
performed on New Years Eve at the National Chiang Kai-shek Cultural
Centre in Taipei, as well as two other performances, Kaohsiung Chih-The
Hall, Kaohsiung on 30th December and Chungli Arts Center, Chungli
on News Year Day 2006.

Tour Australia 2005
2005
saw 4-MALITY's first tour outside Europe to Perth, Australia. Tura
New Music presented 4-MALITY in the Scale Variable series at
the Art Gallery of Western Australia closely followed by a collaboration
with Defying Gravity at large percussion ensemble based at Western
Australia Academy of Performing Arts. This collaboration was broadcast
on ABC
Classic FM as well as being performed at Club Zho.



4-MALITY
at Turku
Percussion Festival 2004, Finland

4-MALITY
featured three times during the Festival.
Firstly
as soloists with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Two of the 4-MALITY
members composed a piece each especially for the occasion. Monsoon
II by Stephen Whibley and Almagest by Jan Bradley.
In
addition, 4-MALITY performed a recital as well as the world premiere
of Lost in the Ocean by Eric Sammut.

at Bath
International Music Festival 2004
4-Mality joined upwith exciting young composer Benjamin Wallfisch
and choreographer Rafael
Bonachela, star of Rambert
Dance Company, and famous for his work choreographing pop videos
for Kylie Minogue, for a programme of rhythm and movement. Apex
has since become part of the regular 4-MALITY repertoire with all
its 80 instruments filling any stage!

Saxophone Quartet join forces 2003
This
unique collaboration features items from each quartet, pieces for
Saxophones and solo percussion and several specially commissioned
works for the Octet (four Saxophones and four Percussion) ranging
from a new Octet by Dinuk Wijeratne and works written by the members
of the two groups, to arrangements of Latin American music as a
fiery finale to this exciting project.

@ BBC PROMS 2001 September 11th , Royal Albert Hall
4-MALITY performed a late night appearance at the BBC Proms. Joined
by the mezzo-soprano, Katalin Károlyi, the programme included Ligeti's
Síppal, Dobbal, Nádihegedüvel, Stephen Whibley's Monsoon
and Jan Bradley's In Line.
György
Ligeti's settings of Sándor Weöres's nonsense poems, Síppal, Dobbal,
Nádihegedüvel, caused a sensation at the work's London premiere
on the South Bank in February.

Stratford English Music Festival, Stratford Upon Avon Civic Centre
Eric
Sammut joined 4-MALITY as a guest soloist. Programme included the
world premiere of Sammut's Extreme Ice Cream.
